Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine, is considered to be the largest city in the country. Located in the North on the Dnieper River, Kiev is a city that has managed to overcome centuries of drastic change to become a shining monument to Russian strength and beauty. Football, ice hockey, and even basketball are very popular spectator sports which can be viewed at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium and the Palace of Sports.
