Since that time, the city has continued to grow as a major shipping center, bringing together many different countries in trade and exports. There are numerous historic buildings, museums, statues, and universities to visit while exploring the city.

Kherson is also a city with many numerous modern attractions to keep visitors busy. Restaurants, nightclubs, cafes, and bars can all be found in the center of the city. One can also visit one of the numerous open markets where fruits, vegetables, trinkets, and antiques are sold daily.
