The third largest city in Ukraine is also one of the most culturally significant in the region. Dnipropetrovsk is a bustling metropolis which has played a great role in the nation's history and continues to stand out as a thriving community. Located on the Dnieper River, Dnipropetrovsk was once a closed city due to its military and scientific industry. This changed in the 1990's when it was once again reopened to visitors from all over the globe. Not only does the city have a wonderful history but it also has no lack of entertainment for both tourists and locals alike.
Dnipropetrovsk has a rich history that stretches back almost 100,000 years ago when the Cumans first inhabited the area. To this day there is a museum featuring amazing stone works of art from these ancient people, a historically and culturally important landmark for visitors to see. During the height of the Cold War the city was the center of the Russian Space Program as well as various ballistic missile bases. Because of this, Dnipropetrovsk was a closed city until the 1990's.
Today there are a numerous things to see in this great city. Opera houses and Museums are of course always available, but there are also several remarkable parks for one to enjoy on a beautiful day. Next to the Museum of History and the Diorama for the "Battle for the Dnieper River", the large Taras Shevchenko Park is the perfect place to see all that Dnipropetrovsk has to offer. One must also not forget Monastyrsky Island, which was host to a large Byzantine monastery built by monks in the 9th century. For those looking for more modern accommodations there are also cafes, restaurants, clubs, and of course a wonderful beach to enjoy.
Dnipropetrovsk has been called home by a great many famous people throughout the world. I have an apartment where I live by myself. A typical day is that I rise with a charge in my spirit - ready to conquer the world! I always have a healthy breakfast (usually oatmeal) and then prepare myself for work. I usually have lunch with colleagues, and then back to work again. My job is as an advertising manager. It's a very interesting job - as I have a lot of contact with people, and always monitoring marketing trends.

Did you study marketing at University? Actually no! I have 2 degrees - one in finance and one in teaching. I just happened to fall into this occupation and found this is what I really enjoy.

How do you spend your evenings when you are not at the agency looking for your future husband?
Two times a week I go to the market to buy groceries for dinner. And sometimes after work I will have a coffee with friends in a restaurant. And I usually go to the agency to collect my mail, as the Internet is not always available at home.

What do you do on your leisure time? Weekends?
On Saturday, I dedicate myself to cleaning the apartment. I like cleanliness in my home. I also cook tasty dishes - comfort foods that are made to pamper you! On Sunday, I usually meet with friend for sports, bowling, or sushi. In general we devote ourselves to some social gathering and a little fun too!

Do you have a dream vacation ? Where would you go? A place called Lost Island. Not many know about it, but someday I will visit there.

Is there anyone in history (past or present) you wish you could meet with just one day?
I would like to meet Scarlett O'Hara. "Gone with the Wind" is one of my favorite movies.

If you could wish one dream to come true, what would it be and why?
First is to find true love. I wish to meet and honest and attentive man that understands the importance of family. I don't have children, but I dream about us starting a family together.
