With countless casinos, nightclubs, restaurants, movie houses, and bars to choose from, one certainly doesn't have to worry about a lack of distraction while visiting the city. Gorky Park has long been a favorite for both locals and tourists alike. Each winter there is an annual Ice Sculpture Competition held on the grounds which stretch over 300 beautiful acres. Alexandrovsky Park, located next to Moscow's Kremlin, is a beautiful stretch of land where one can see a multitude of large fountains and sculptures. On warm summer days Moscovites enjoy stretching out on the green grass next to the Kremlin. The Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences is one of the largest of its kind in all of Europe. It contains live exhibitions of more than 20 thousand different plant species as well as a working scientific research laboratory.

Moscow is truly a place where one could get lost in all of the wonderful sights, smells, and sounds. Just remember however that Moscow was rated as the most expensive city in the world, so it's always a good idea to plan out any trip well in advance to ensure that you can do as much as possible without breaking the bank.
